haleyville al,
How dare y’all. You will go to hell for using corn. It’s unethical and just wrong. With all that. I’m having a tri axle of corn dumped. We are using troughs.

Texas style is THE best way. Deer had rather pic it up off of the ground and be able to spread out away from each other. 100lbs spread on each large field/tree line/road bed once a week will be deadly.

I hunted in Central Georgia the last two years in a club that spent no telling how much on corn. Everyone in the club baited every field and easy to access place on the property. I mostly hunted swamps and creek bottoms from a climber and killed 2 of the 4 shooters killed last year and I wasn't anywhere close to where they fed corn. I'm not opposed to people hunting however they want if it's legal but have never felt like I had to feed to kill a deer. If I ever thought I had to spend 100s or 1000s on supplemental feeding to be able to see deer I would quit hunting. I'm not opposed to the feeding. I'm opposed to the time and money it appears to take to do it.

Same thing here. Gonna move our gravity feeders to the fields, and convert them to spinners during season. Not much different than before, except our green fields will have some corn to go with the wheat, oats, and rye. Where I hunt the only time of year that corn will change things is the last 3-4 weeks. The rut will be over and most of the browse will be gone and they will come to corn during the daytime, if it is in a place not pressured to much.

I will be putting out cans of libby’s Cream corn this year. It’s just as good as the del monte stuff, but way cheaper.

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

Corn is just going to add to the other baits like acorns and food plots that I already hunt over. I like that I can put a gravity feeder on a logging landing with rock hard red dirt that doesn't have a chance in hell to grow a decent crop of wheat, but the feeder sits just fine. Why put in all that working farming soil that ain't worth a rip when I can let some feller in Iowa do it for me.

What hasn't been discussed near enough are the alternative sources of food we can use besides corn now. I'll be feeding sweet potatoes and potentially carrots, too.
