There's a little something that bugs me about Dabo.... he constantly talks in schmucky one-liners. In one way I love how he doesn't use a lot of "coach speak", but then again every time I hear him interviewed I wind up turning it becuase it's just "aw shucks, one-liner schmucky". He's on XM ESPN-u all the time, and the other day I swear he answered every question this way.

I’d bet most football coaches have a pretty big ego. Some hide them well, and some don’t. If he did more at Clemson than Bear or Saban has done at UA, well, that’s great. But he knows he’s in a cookie cutter conference, and it’ll bug him that he didn’t do it in the SEC. I’d bet if he could go anywhere in the SEC, UA would be his first choice, and imo, the best place to have a good chance to run the numbers up as high or higher than the best coaches there’s ever been.

What AD does that? He’s not letting Pruitt have full control and May feel if he sabotages it enough he can go to the board and say hey, let me take over as HC and right this ship.
Just tin foil hat speak but I wouldn’t put something devious past Ol Phil.

As a Bama fan please oh please let this happen. Phil is a coach stuck in the past and can't coach in today's CFB landscape. Look at the changes Saban had to make to keep winning. Unfortunately for Tennessee there's probably more truth to this than anyone wants to let on and they're going to get rid of a decent coach in Jeremy Pruett.
