GKelly 10 point Joined: Apr 2017 Posts: 4,597 Elmore county	8x42 has a wider view 10x42 is a little easier to judge antlers id probably go with the 10x42 I normally spot the deer with my bare eyes first then check it with binos so higher magnification usually works best for me if i was going to be scanning wood lines and looking thru them alot id go for a wider view 8x42
