The New York Times has realized that their attempt to bring the President down with Russia lies has failed. The heads of the paper were recently taped planning a new attack on the President and America, RACISM has been the last ditch effort of every liberal. Now the New York times has proposed the re-writting of history. That America was founded in 1619along with slavery. This is sickening.

The Times started the 1619 Project last week, which seeks to "reframe" American history 400 years after the first slave ship came to North America.

The paper says the project "aims to reframe the country’s history, understanding 1619 as our true founding, and placing the consequences of slavery and the contributions of black Americans at the very center of the story we tell ourselves about who we are."

The 1619 project has been panned by critics as an attempt to reduce the entirety of American history to a lesson on slavery and race.

The Times said they plan on using the series throughout different parts of the paper's news sections, including sports, business, and travel.

Last week, a leaked transcript from a Times meeting of editors and staff reveal the paper wants to rebuild its coverage over the next two years to focus on writing "more deeply about the country, race, and other divisions."

Slavery has existed forever and still exists to this day. The latter is the story the Times should be working on, not a rewriting of history.

We are the only Country being shamed over slavery. It's weak white people allowing this crap. I'm like you, I see the rest of the world, but the libs have turned a blind eye to it. Some of the same Countries that continually try to bleed off Americas wealth at the UN, still have slavery.

It is absolutely mind blowing that Democratic Presidential candidates are actually talking about slavery reparations. I will put up my savings that if asked none of them could even give you the name of one slave.

I've always said that I'd donate $1000 for the first person that came forward that was actually a slave. I guess I'm a racist, but I believe that all blacks should be glad or grateful they ended up here, no matter how they got here. What would their life be if their ancestors had remained in Africa?

I feel the same way the past is the past no one alive today ever suffered under slavery but are living in the greatest country in the world as a result of a distant ancestors sacrifice. The kids today hollering racism about everything havent been alive long enough to see real racism, today it is just a phrase to use when you dont get something just the way you like it.

It's simply because we are the only country that allows you to be profitable or electable by "claiming" slavery. If someone couldn't make money or use it for election purposes, there would be no shame, just history and lessons learned.

The New York Times at its core is a bunch of white-hating jews like many other prominent publications along with organizations like the SPLC and ADL.

Rush was all over this today. THE biggest problem with this is that the NYT already has this easing into public schools. Yes, they plan to indoctrinate school kids that 1619 is fact. Y'all better start attending school board meetings, PTA and everything else you can do to be damn sure your kids get REAL, FACTUAL teaching. Nobody stood up to Common Core and look where that schit has us. Sitting on your hands furthers the liberals cause.
