Never could pull it off. I could grab the rim but never dunk so I just stuck with football and played DE. Wasn't smart enough to play offense ! I'm shocked you can walk and talk at the same time!

I could Dunk a basketball when i was in the 9th grade. At 62 years of age that is a distant memory. All i have to show now are 2 worn out, bone to bone knees that need replacing. He is not kidding! David was an outstanding basketball player.

I could until about a few years ago at 6’3”. I know I can still grab the rim.

I kilt a buncha deer while folks was learnin to dunk..i played baseball in school but i quit once i realised how badly it cut into my turkey hunting..and that i wudnt gonna play college ball..screw a datgum buncha ball playin..i liked it and i could mash a baseball..but..id wayy rather shoot an catch stuff..much more useful life skill too...

10 foot goal, nope, never
9.5 foot goal, yes in high school and college.
Since 2000 make it an 8 foot goal and I can throw it down...with advil afterwards these days.
At age 50, my specialty is free throws...I can still outshoot most kids these days from the line. My boys clobber me, but they play competitive bball.

Yes. One hand, two hands, backwards, tomahawk, bounce off the floor alley-oop to myself, off the backboard to myself. I would dunk every year on my birthday just to see if I could still do it. The last time I did it I think I was 45. I am 51 now, don't think I can do it anymore. The landing hurts alot more than it used to. My senior year I was 6'3" and around 160#. Now I'm 6'3" 240.
