Anybody have an hard info on this new Bait law concerning Bait fish and the transportation of them?
I heard it is supposed to take effect in a week but I cannot find anything stating the effective date, outlining the new rules, stating the penalties, or anything other then the vague unclear writeup in the e-regulations.
This is the most hard to find regulation . I cant find a dang thing on it and even had a Fish and Game employee look and he could not either.
You would think something like this would be in print and advertised or how would anyone even know of it?
I want to know the date of implementation, the fine, as well as what darn fish we catch in our nets we can actually freaking use! Seems pretty dang basic.
We catch shad, crappie, bream, herring and silver tailed minnows netting. What ones can we actually USE for bait if we catch them on the lake is what we would like to know!?
Throwing a net you get herring more then anything.
Every body of water in Bama I believe now has blue back herring, but I was told we cant use them as bait. Which is idiotic BTW. If we cant use fish we catch elsewhere but also cant use the darn fish we catch here then WTH are we supposed to do.
Can anyone from on here from Al. F & G actually freaking tell us? Or dont they know either? What a clusterphuck IMO.

just the normal clusterfk by the dept communicating the laws/regs to the public in a timely manner.
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....
