I re-worked a couple of gravity flow feeders and made two 60 gallon timed feeders, thinking they would hold at lease 400 pounds of corn each, they won't. We had 50 pound sacks of corn from Harrell Milling Co and the feeders held a little over 300 pounds of corn. I might have been able to add another 15 or 20 pounds, but not much more. We set the timer for 4 PM for 20 seconds, and we will probably increase it to 25 or 30 seconds as soon as the deer get use to it. Regardless, the corn drops into a trough with a metal cover on top of it. I wanted to get some roasted soybeans and mix with corn, but I didn't find any close by.

If I can't get them in prattville Monday for $12 a bag I'm going to Frisco city. If you want me to grab some for you I can. I'm probably not more than hr and half away.

Thanks for the offer, but I am 1 1/2 hours from you. I was in Luverne yesterday going to our land tho. Fleming in Ramer has them for $19.50, but to me that is too high. It will be early Nov before I add more feed. I was glad to see $2.259 gas up there.
