This is miserable. Cut some brush with a hand saw and sunk some brush piles this afternoon. Evidently got something in my left eye and for the life of me I cant get it out. Have flushed it until my eye is swoll up. Anyone got any tips on how to get this plank out of my eye.

Had a metal grinder brush fly in my eye last week , luckily my mom had some script eye drops. Still swoll up and hurt like a mo fo

Don’t rub it for sure, flush or have someone look at your eye if they might see it, if that don’t work go to the dr.

No safety glasses, face shield? Those things are a bioch to dig out of your skin much less the eye.

The plank has moved and is now bearable. Feels like it has moved to the corner and I think it will come out on it's own. Thank goodness the last few hrs were rough

Similar problem couple weeks ago. I let it go for a day, then my eye starting turning red so I went to the eye doc. Whatever was in my eye (likely a dog hair) came out without me knowing but felt like it was still there. Doc checked and said nothing was there but it was getting infected. Prescribed antibiotic drops. Cleared up fast after that.

Go to Callahan Eye Hospital. On the corner of 18th St and University Blvd (8th Ave S). It is one of only 2 Level One Ocular Trauma Centers in the Nation. They have a 24 Hour ER. That will get you straightened out.

I saw a show a while back where this little old lady used to stick her tongue in peoples eyes to remove things so you might want to look her up

Go to an eye Dr to have it removed asap

True story-I new of a doc on a medical mission trip in Africa that was temporarily blinded for 2 weeks by one of those things. He was basically performing surgery a temporary surgical tent in a very remote region. When he opened the curtain on a shelf that held towels one of them bad boys was coiled up head high waiting on him. Thank God it only sprayed him. Sad part was that a lot of surgical procedures never got done.
