get out there and check em, this drought is hard on em. I have been watering mine here at the house to keep em from wilting. Too much time and work in em to let em die on me.

These are a life saver as long as you dont have to many trees.

A tree planter I know said they have had a lot of seedling kills this year for various reasons, some as much as 60%. You need to check on the little pines. Big problem.

I walked a couple acres of them a few weeks ago and they were better than 90% survival. We have gotten decent (almost good) rain since then so I have high hopes. Gonna start spraying them soon so I'll get a real good look at the whole tract then.

We are behind on rain as well. Seems this year the pattern has been it goes to the north of us or just to the south.

I have a cypress in my backyard that all the leaves have browned and are now dropping. It's bad in my area.

South-Central, too. I've got 2 Pawpaws defoliated, one's coming back, the other I'm not sure about. Watering daily, now.

Drought??? Chit - I just finished digging trenches in my back yard above the field lines of my septic tank earlier today to get all the dang standing water off my lawn. It's been raining like mad down here on the coast every single day. Today is the first day without rain for us in well over a week.

You can have all the rain you want - it's free, I'll give it to you!

Mulch your trees and it will save you a lot of trouble when it’s dry like this.

Its not bad drought, its a little dry. The heat though has been a little high this summer. Here is the link to the official drought monitor. https://droughtmonitor.unl.edu/CurrentMap/StateDroughtMonitor.aspx?AL
