I am leery of anyone who proclaims himself to be "the buckmaster" I'm leery of any man who screams like a girl and runs away from a lizard.
My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

I went Sunday afternoon and bought a few thing, I took my to youngins and they had a ball. It cost me a can of beans and it was a great family day, and Buckmasters isn't as big as Bhams but I do like it better.

Me and N2TRKYS rode down today. About what I expected as far venders go. Hung out at the archery range for a while and talked to Okfuski and some of the guys I used shoot with. Sure do miss shooting down there. Saw Jackie and gave him Outback’s cell number. I'm not sure I would tell that I was anywhere with Brad!!

For some of the dirtbag trash in the outdoors industry -- we just had a huge thread about Chris Brackett, who abused his camera guy and was convicted of poaching -- we have had a guy from Alabama who for 30 years or more has:
-- promoted hunting and the outdoors lifestyle we love -- provided jobs -- not had any poaching-arrest scandals -- highlighted sports athletes and celebs from orgs that didn't or wouldn't talk about their athletes hunting and killing animals -- puts on a free expo every year -- if you bring a can of food to be donated to a food bank - that thousands attend -- was one of the first to launch hunting to the nation on The Nashville Network with his tv show -- had characters that kids enjoyed and learned things from -- Shotgun Red and Bubba
Is Jackie perfect? Hell no, and neither is his business. They've had some serious issues that can't be overlooked. A lot of businesses are like that.
But in the overall I'll take a bajillion Bushmans than one Brackett any day.

I'm kinda disappointed Shaw isn't shooting too. Is anyone from Aldeeer competing?

Well said. I grew up around Jackie and he is as good of a guy as you will come across. Sure his business has flaws but I can't think of one particular business that doesn't.

Hard to disagree with anything said above. I knew Jackie back when he was at Lagoon Park running tennis tournaments, and he is a likable guy. I just don't care for the over-commercialization of the industry which has spawned the likes of Chris Brackett and other douchebags who will do anything to kill a deer just to make money. Buckmasters is part of that problem IMO.

What Clem said. But it's just like the Rick and Bubba bashing that goes on this site. One month it's Aldeer cool to pile on them, then Chuck and then Jackie. I've also have meet Jackie several times and have spoke with him about all the disabled vets and handicapped kids that he and his organization makes possible to go hunting just to thank him for that. The only time we didn't agree on something was a Sirius XM station devoted twenty four seven to hunting and fishing. But I'm a firm believer that if NASCAR and the NHL has a station that one for outdoors man would work.

I forgot about the disabled and terminally ill youth hunts. Those are fantastic services with great people doing good work.
If y'all want a little wake-up or perspective, volunteer to help with the youth hunt for terminally ill children. I think they have it each January.

^^Well said, lot of wisdom in this post. Same goes for Rick and Bubba. No one is perfect or above reproach but just because they do a couple things we don't like let's not discount all the good they do. Most importantly let's weigh our own faults/flaws as heavily as we do those of others.

I've had the privilege of filming some of the kids hunts at the life hunt for the last 3 or 4 years and it's one of the coolest things I get to be a part of around here. Very cool perk of the job being able to have the honor of hanging out with the kids for a little bit.
