I just walked in the house 15 minutes ago from work yesterday in time to get a shower ( not sure why I bothered with that really, I’ll be sweating like crazy again as soon as I walk out the door) and wake JT up so I can drop him off at football practice on my way to work.

This stuff didn’t use to bother me at all but the last year or so I really feel these 36-40 hour shifts

Dang buddy that's some long hours. Be careful with this heat.

I really enjoy working, but when I broke 45 I noticed I need more recharge time.

I'm so old, I'm starting to develop diaper rash again from all the sweat going down my butt crack. It itches like a giant mosquito bite down there. Hoping the Monkey Butt Rub does the trick

I feel ya'. When I was 16 years old I worked in the Florida heat one summer digging sewer lines and water lines. I probably wouldn't last more than a couple of days if I had to do it now.

Yep, powdering the giblets is mandatory this time of year.
And at 53, I seem to need naps more frequently.

Resinol for rashes and burns. CANNOT BE BEAT! gotta ask for it behind the counter though. Will literally heal a minor rash burn over night

Don't blame me for your bad decision-

The wife and I were talking a couple of nights ago about how it used to be pretty common for me to go to work, thinking it was an 8 hour shift, and not being back for 2-3 days. I’ve slept in the truck many more times than I care too now days.

Take care of yourself. I'm walking proof that too many long shifts, getting called out in the middle of the night frequently and stuff like that will take a major toll on your body even if you don't think it will. You'll be fine and then everything starts going haywire all at once.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

You boys with swamp a$$ need to change types of underwear. A good performance/sport style boxer brief will wick moisture away and the compression style keeps you from chafing. I’m in the heat a good bit and have to wear FR clothing and I NEVER have issues.

Yep. I’ve been wearing them for years. No way I would ever go back to plain old boxers and tighty whities are for kids lol.
