Not much there anymore. Stores been closed a couple of years. Used to stop in a lot and get a cold drink and pack of crackers. Hated to see it close.

I was thinking of Blues Old Stand near Perote, AL Myself and two buddies hunted a black families property there in the eighties. At that time we had no idea how fortunate we were to hunt so much land that had fine bucks for nothing. Then somebody told somebody at the store where we hunted and it wasn’t long until some big shots out Birmingham was leasing the property. But we had some great times there hunting and camping.
