Looking at a used nice SUV for my wife. Something no later than 2016 for $$ reasons. Looking at Lexus and Infiniti. The LS430 she's driving now is a 2003 with 250K+ miles and the check engine light started blinking yesterday and she limped it to the house. So it's gotta be fixed. I got to get her something newer and something that is going to last. She wants an SUV rather than a sedan due to predicting to hauling grandkids and stuff around. What kind of SUV do y'alls better half drive?

Sig Sauer, to hell and back reliable.

Whatever suits you just tickles me plum to death.

Can I refill your eggnog for you? Get you something to eat? Drive you out to the middle of nowhere and leave you for dead?

If you're looking at the luxury Japanese brands, the MDX would be on my short list.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

My wife drives a Yukon. Before that she had a Tahoe. We have never had any trouble with either.

The new expedition is nice. Bought my wife one few months ago. Did plenty of homework too. I’m very happy with it.

We’ve been shopping all summer. Acura MDX, Honda Pilot, Kia telluride, or Lexus Rx350 if you don’t need 7 seats. We’ve driven them all. Gonna wait till September/October to buy.

2009 Armada. It’s a family hauling tank. Love that thing. Only bad thing I can about it is the fuel mileage. It gets gallons to the mile!! I’m interested in the new Explorer. I did hear there were some problems with fumes entering the cab area though.

Don't blame me for your bad decision-

If I were buying a luxury Japanese SUV, my choices would be, Accura,Lexus ,Honda, Toyota in that order. A Nissan product wouldn't be in the running.

I hate car shopping..... Bout to crack open a beer and keep looking... I saw one of those QX80's a bit ago. A military guy was loading up from a birthday party at yogurt craze. That vehicle is huge.

‘19 Honda Pilot, we just put over a thousand miles on it this week riding around Florida and I have no complaints whatsoever with the ride. Got 24mpg also. Room wise, I miss the rear storage that our suburban had for those kind of trips

The power, space, fuel mileage, quite comfortable ride and general liability of the Tahoe/ Yukon in my opinion are hard to beat. I did try to convince my wife to get a sequoia when we bought the 2016 but she didn’t care for it. She averages 23mpg’s and when we stayed on mostly flat ground out west got as high as 36mpg on some tanks during our trip with a 400hp v8. That’s very impressive
