I have a new to me 05 Four Runner that has never been garaged. The clearcoat is peeling off on the roof and the hood. I need to get this off and redone. I need suggestions in North Alabama on who to contact.

Thanks in advance.

My Tacoma stared on the hood & then the roof and is now on the tops of the fenders and the bed rails. Say that to say I think you'll just be chasing clear coat fix once you start on one area.

I see a lot of cars & trucks with peeling clear coats... shame as otherwise they're otherwise well kept vehicles.

You can thank the Federal Gov't for this. Removing the lead from paint and it ain't worth crap now. Cars from 50's -70's still have good paint.

I used Center Star body shop over toward Killen to do some paint on my avalanche and he did good work and was very reasonable.

I didn’t eat any. It was my parents generation that had low IQ’s and were half mental. That’s gotta be why millennials are the way they are, cause their parents are working with half a brain.

And you don’t have to lick and chew on car paint to get an exposure. Most comes from occupational settings. But what do I know? I only deal with occupational exposures for a living.

Yes, and you were only educated by the global warming crowd too.

And you only regurgitate what you were taught kind of like the global warming or next ice age group. Or maybe even better the roundup group. Now don't get me wrong but I think there is a little validity in some of exposure but come on now with all if the lead out of paint, fuel, crayons and most everything else then these milenials should be Rhodes Scollars. Too bad but they are not, most have no common sense.

All the old made in China ( and some new ) , and the old American made toys made back in the day were painted with lead based paint. And, as anyone with little kids know, they put everything in their mouths.

I have valid scientific studies to back my stance up. You however, don’t.

I’m not a global warming believer. What I do is backed up real science.

Kinda like the Ditchklft Auburn Coyote study.
