Right, me too. I’m saying that as long as they aren’t buying weapons to sell them (I.e., buying to use or hold onto, then deciding it’s best to sell), there’s no limit as to how many they can sell.

Some folks just misinterpret things. Just like the apparent mandatory donation of 3%. It happens. But the boss makes the rules and can ban folks for any reason.

I think it ought to be mandatory for every person that sells ANYTHING on this website to pay 3% of the selling price (or the $100.00) to Aldeer.

It's a great service that we have access to and 3% is a small price to pay for using the classifieds to sell our stuff.

I have never failed to pay the 3% or $100.00 on anything I've sold here.

But I know there are probably many who take advantage and never pay.

Make it mandatory.

I'm always grateful to be able to use this place to sell an item or two occasionally.

That isn’t the standard. The standard is are you selling as a means to contribute towards your livelihood. There is no limit on buying or selling as long as the purpose is to increase, decrease or better your gun collection. But, the the sales are going towards your livelihood, you are required to have an FFL.

I’ve bought a lot and traded quite a bit here on the classifieds. As far as trading is concerned, should we still make a 3% donation or is this for sales only?

As far as I’m concerned, no.

If you’re buying them to sell them, they’re contributing to your livelihood. Why else would you buy something with the intention of selling it?

Makes perfect sense and how someone can justify arguing it is beyond me.

I’ll be honest I don’t send my 3% on every sale but I try to PayPal $50 every 4-6 months cause I like the place. I hope that’s ok
