Speaking of the VA can you get a veterans ID card there just by being honorable discharged and not retired? I’ve carried around my DD214 for military discounts and sure enough I finally washed it. I also tried to get one on IDme but it was to complicated trying to take DL picture and copy and paste it. Didn’t mean to highjack the thread was just wondering about that.

You can get a Dept of Veterans Affairs ID card you use at the medical facilities. It has what branch you were in on it and your photo. You get them at a VA hospital. So far everyone has honored it for discounts.
