Clarksville/Fort Campbell is a great place especially if you like deer and turkey hunting. Several guys I used to work with retired and stayed in the area, I don’t know which schools or neighborhoods to live in but the town it’s self is a good place.... at least better than Fayetteville, NC and Lawton, Ok....

That is an awesome area that’s an outdoorsman’s paradise

Bill I commend you be doing what you do. Would you mind renting something with an extra bedroom so I’ll have a place to stay and hunt Land between the Lakes? 😂

That’s a pretty part of the state.

Been too and through there a number of times. Pretty country and good folks. Don’t know it well enough to say what areas are better than others but I’d say there are a lot worse places to have to move to.

No, she's a teacher with the DOD.

Good Luck with the move.

I've been working up there a lot lately, seems like a great place with a lot of opportunities.

New LG plant just opened up, right across the road they are building Google plant.

Whitt's bbq was shut down due to a death in the family, they expect to reopen soon.

Off subject, but one of my favorite customers operate there on the interstate. Kind of interesting in these times of operation. The company was forming and the two parties could not come to a deal so the two CEO's of each company said screw em and opened a joint venture on their own. They did so on a hand shake with out all the legalities. The name of the company is MW/MB, they make some sort of proprietary roofing compound. MW/MB stands for My Word/My Bond.

Great place for an outdoorsman to live! I'm about 45 minutes south of there.

Whitts bbq is a terrible excuse for bbq.

Just spent a week in the area during the 4th. Nice people. Beautiful place. Thank you for being a great dad.

About 1/3 of LBL in on the TN side of the state line. Nice deer up that way, but it’s all bow hunting other than the quota hunts. You earn points in their system, and can usually get drawn every other year. Nice part of TN too.

Alright, just got back from a week in Clarksville and have secured a place to live. Anyone who has hunted public land on the Tennessee side around the Clarksville area has a free place to stay if you're willing to show me the public land ropes. Since the season will open shortly after I move there, I figure I can shorten my learning curve and someone could save a bunch of money on hotels. I'll probably mostly bow hunt since I haven't applied for any of the quota hunts. Anyone interested send me a PM and we can work out the details and dates. My schedule is flexible so weekdays aren't usually a problem for those that can hunt during the week.

Bill, you need to quiz them peeps on tndeer.com I know they'z considered almost Yanks to us these days but they can really help you out up there smile

And my lease is down in Hardin County near Savannah and you're welcome any time.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Don't threaten me with a good time. We will definitely get together if we can work it out.

I like the area. I ate at a couple of places that were great. It has a small town feel with a 150k people and steadily growing. Almost every subdivision backs up to a tobacco or corn field and the traffic isn't bad at all. Schools are some of the best in the state and the hunting and fishing is supposed to be great. I haven't been there long enough for a final verdict but so far so good.
