Prattville, Millbrook, or Wetumpka. You’re probably going to have a 20-30 min commute from any of those cities. With Deatsville and these 3 probably best choices for town. Prattville has the best fire and police protection. IMO, Stanhope leads (barely) on school system. That means best of all would be Prattville part that is in Elmore County zoned for Stanhope.

depends on the drive, that's not a bad option. I've got a great little place to call home in Auburn. I live not far from exit 50, door to door it's 55minute'ish. I would prefer not to have a 2hr round trip, 500hrs annually not accounting for the inevitable semi truck accident snarling up 85 in Macon Co.

It you decide to move to Montgomery, he sure to check out Smilley Court, Gibbs Village, or Southlawn. Wonderfully interesting neighborhoods. Lots of culture, great architecture, and many intellectual types right??

Stay in auburn. My wife and I both work in Montgomery and live in Loachapoka. West side of auburn would be your best bet It you decide to move to Montgomery, be sure to check out Smilley Court, Gibbs Village, or Southlawn. Wonderfully interesting neighborhoods. What about Sheridan heights and bolytson

Stay in auburn and make the drive. I've done it for almost 14 years now. I get some of my best sleep on the trip back and forth. There are enough alternate routes that you get off and go around the frequent Macon co wrecks.
What you do today, you have to sleep with tonight.
