Is there a public beach area there?

There is a PIECE of road going to the beach just before the gate going into the park. It leads down to a beach access where a lot of people fish. Roads in terrible shape though

Mobile Street, located near the 12 mile marker is probably the most well known.

Closer to the fort is "No Name Road" which was recently paved and renamed. It's a good walk from the parking area to the actual beach.

There are also some beach access areas owned by the county near Ponce De Leon Ct but I'm not sure how much parking is there.

"Cull" is just another four letter word...

There are about 3 or 4 spots along Ponce De Leon Ct. with a little parking along the side of the road. You can eat at the Sassy Bass if your starving.

Either the Sassy Bass or pizza... pickins' are slim on the plateau.

The road on the left, just as you enter the Fort has been redone and they put a gate up. It's about a quarter mile walk to the beach.

FYI, don't plan on fishing that "no name" road or Mobile Street after dark unless you want to take a chance on getting a ticket. It's a dang shame that a fella can't fish at night anymore.
