Growing up in south Alabama, my perfect Saturday involved fishing the creeks with my dad and bringing home a mess of panfish. We would clean them, fry them, and eat until we were stuffed. I haven't been able to do that in a good while with him, but my parents came up to visit for my daughter's baptism and I had a mess of bluegill in the freezer from a month or so ago. I didn't even have a fish fryer of my own, and after much convincing my wife gave me the go-ahead to purchase a cheapo at Academy. It got the job done. I went crazy with the fryer. Fried up fries, hushpuppies, the fish, a few shrimp, some wild turkey breast, and if they would have brought the slaw outside I'd probably have fried it to. It was a good meal polished off by some homemade blackberry cobbler my wife made. I'm hungry again after making this post.

Looks good! We try to do this at least once a month around the house. Hard to beat it, with some cold beer!
A friend, the Bible and a banker will get you though about anything.

Looking good. I can eat my weight in those hushpuppies....
The left lane is for the the purpose of moving the flow of traffic forward regardless of the speed limit. If your impeding the flow of traffic get your ass in the right lane. It's really that simple...
