So I looked over my spot before I was taking down a tripod feeder, I set the feeder down and it had red wasps in it so I was contemplating what to do next. While contemplating if felt movement by my foot, so I looked down and right beside my foot that banded bastard was sliding, I made one shrill lady scream two steps back and then four shots from my Glock 19. I then said he’ll with it and got back on my ATV to fight the fight with the wasps another day. I was wearing snake chaps but goodness it is scary having a 4 foot blood gelling snake right beside you.

Yep. Any feed on the ground attracts rodents and the snakes just ambush them.
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

I'm more interested in what you did about the wasps. I'm more afraid of them than I am a snake.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

But you didn't keep the rattles? I need some for a guitar! 99% of folks don't know what you're talking about

It's a good thing Timbers are NOT aggressive. Seriously, they're pretty patient. Not to say they won't bite, cause they will, but I've seen some pretty easy going Timbers and there are those that let you know they're there as soon as you walk up, but I've seen them rattle without even coiling up. Just sayin', "Hey dude, I'm down here, I'd appreciate it if you won't step on me and move on along!"
I hate to kill'em, but I do when I find one on my hunting land. I've seen them crossing roads and purposefully dodged them. They're not a mean snake, but you DON'T want to be bitten by one!!!
Glad you weren't bitten!
