I don't know if any of you have been following his Murder trial, but he has been charged with murdering a wounded Isis fighter. The charges were brought by younger seals. The younger seals didn't like the Chief because he was a hard charger and he claimed the younger members were not good members. Yesterday a prosecution witness admitted he killed the fighter, not Gallagher. Even with this testimony, the prosecution refuses to drop the murder charges against Eddie. This also proves the testimony of the younger team members has been a lie all along. This is crazy. Gallagher is a decorated warrior and needs to be freed immediately. There have been claims of improper prosection from the beginning.

I’ve only followed it a bit but has seemed like a witch hunt to me too.
I thought the purpose of war was to kill the enemy. Guarantee you the shoe was on the other foot, the ISIS guy wouldn’t hesitate to kill the American.

The defense all along has claimed Eddie performed a tractotomy on the Isis fighter for a collapsed lung, and that is why he cut the fighter's throat to insert a breathing tube. This proves claims that the other Seals were lying in their sworn testimony and are now open to jail time themselves. The admitted murderer stated he suffocated the Isis fighter by blocking the breathing tube. This should get interesting and lead to charges for other team members and possibly the prosecution team.

From what ive read the prosecution has had evidence clearing Gallagher all along and now it appears its just a matter of saving face and getting the win for them

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

This is some serious courtroom drama for sure. When I heard it it struck me that the corpsman was admiring to the murder to save the Chief, because he can admit to it and get off Scott free due to him having immunity from prosecution. Whatever the reason, it was surely a bombshell, because no own who had questioned the witness up to that point had any hint that he did it or that he was going to admit to it.
You would like to think if any group of servicemen would stand by each other through thick and thin it would be Navy Seals. Unfortunately, I'm afraid those days may be in the past. After the UBL raid and books were written about that event, I think some of the camaraderie amongst SEALS has lessened.
