Thinking about starting the process of looking for a new Tacoma. Where’s the best deals? Got a family friend that can get the best deal he says from Clearwater Toyota in Tampa. He works for Honda up here owned by Sonic automotive group? Stepson just got a 2019 4x4 TRD sport for 34,000.00 through him. Give me some advice guys. I will be selling my 2009 4x4. It has 437,000 miles but is still running like new. What’s its worth while we’re at it?

Email is your friend. Figure out what you want and get to typing. Only show up when you’re ready to sign. I’m amazed anyone haggles in person any more.

If he really bought a new TRD for 34k he should buy one every chance he gets. He could drive them for 2 years and still make a profit. Also, that's easy below invoice and even after hold back the dealership would take a bath at that price. Not saying he didn't buy it for that but I'll give him 3k profit for every one he can get at that price and I'll sell it at a profit to a Toyota dealership that I used to work at.

I hope my Camry makes 434,000. Toyota makes some very reliable vehicles.

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.

X2. I have them get the paperwork ready and I show up an hour before closing time. I've never stayed longer than an hour

Yup. Guy I work with bought a brand new 4x4 TuRD Tacoma 4 months ago from Bob Tyler in Pcola for $34k. He's already wanting to trade it for a "real truck" (his words). Said it won't pull a greasy string out of a cat's ass. Tired of it downshifting all the time at the slightest hill when pulling his boat.

Hey Woodduck. Hope all is good. I bought a tundra in 2016 and got my best deal from Estabrook Toyota in moss point miss. Beat Tuscaloosa and Bham and had a good weekend to boot. Hope all is good for you. Come see me if you come through Centreville.

You can find the trd sport for 35k online at rivertown without even haggling. So not guessing the dealer took a bath with the deal of 34k.

Yup...Bill might be thinking about the TRD Pro...the TRD Sport is much cheaper than the TRD Pro, usually about $8k less

Find out which model and color you want, email every dealer you'd be willing to drive to, go with the one that gives the best price. Make sure you get an "out the door" price so you can compare fees. Tuscaloosa Toyota was the cheapest I found, I just bought a 2019 TRD Off-road from them about a month ago

Yep, Tuscaloosa Toyota beat the lowest price I had found on a new 4Runner back in 2018.

Can't help with a dealer, but I will take the truck off of your hands. I have a 2005 Camry with 306,xxx and would throw in an inshore trip grin

I bought a 2016 and kept it for a year. Never liked it. The 3.5 had zero power and got crappy mileage. I’m a Tacoma fan but not the new ones

I have never seen a yota truck with good gas mileage. Besides the 2wd old old kind.

That gives me hope for my Avalon.
It's at 115K right now and planning on running the wheels off.

No haggling yet at Lagrange Toyota.
$34,500 on Sport, plus fees and taxes.
Not real enthused about price.
Lynch in Auburn never got back to me.
