Da hell does matter. They all float.

Da hell does matter. They all float. Only yankees call a cork a bobber I've dated a few bobbers but I've only fished with corks & floats.

Cork is foam.
Bobber is the red and white plastic one
To me
Never said float in my life You gotta be kidding me. Cork is a type of WOOD. It used to plug ALL Bottles. The young are really brain dead. The word cork in relation to fishing is due to the fact that once they really were bottle corks, then the floats were made of CORK. Calling a piece of Foam a cork is no different from calling a Magazine a CLIP!

I'm old enough and we were poor enough that we actually used corks as floats. So I grew up calling it a cork because that's what it was. When they came out with the red and white plastic floats, my grandfather didn't like them because he said they would scare the fish.
I still call them corks. I told my wife a while back to buy some plastic corks so we could take the grandchildren fishing. It's a term that will die out when my generation is gone.
All the labor of man is for his mouth, and yet the appetite is not filled.
