shallow weedy areas. the carp spawned about 3 or 4 weeks ago but they can still be found in the shallows.

I shot fish in the daylight everyday...good pair of polarized sunglasses an thowdown...you aint gotta do it at night as id rather shoot fish when the sun is high an your glasses are most effective.

Well I found a good spot last night. Stuck a big ole carp and he got wrapped around the trolling motor as I was getting him up to the boat. Sucker got off . Thought he was about to break the arrow when he had it bent around the trolling motor shaft. I'll have my net handy next time. He would have went 30lbs or more
