Those professional sprayers are pretty expensive, Stihl makes a really nice one. I contemplated getting one, pretty sure when my pest control does it it's listed as Bifen I/T, pretty easy to buy, think I got mine off of Amazon. I did it using a hand sprayer for a year or two and it worked OK, but needed to be re-done often. Had the pest control company come out and do it, lasted much longer I guess b/c it's getting spread better or maybe they are just getting much more out. I priced out the quality blower/sprayers and decided I'd just pay someone to come do it for the 3 months a year I would like to have it done and if I don't want to do it for a month or a year, not a problem.

That’s why I started this post.My guy sprayed my yard April 9 this year.I live in n Alabama so that’s spraying about 10-12 times this summer. I didn’t like that at all so I’m Gona buy a sprayer off eBay for around 400$ a gallon of talstar P. The spartan system didn’t work for me tried it last year hope it works for yall

Talstar is bifenthrin also. It’s what I use on my perimeter around my house. Good stuff

The commercial mosquito sprayers kill bees. My neighbor fogged their yard it killed all 5 of my backyard hives immediately. I hate that shucks with a passion.

Echo makes a fogger kit to attach to a blower for about $50-60. I haven't tried to retro fit that to a Sthil but if anyone comes across a kit that works or similar please let us all know via this thread or start a new one at the time, etc.

My dude comes about every 2 weeks and that might be overkill but I don't have any mosquitos.... and I was to the point you had to quickly open and shut the door to keep them from getting in the house. You can imagine what the yard was like. You couldn't walk out there and stand still for 2-3 minutes they'd be all over you.

Pretty sure my neighbor that lives across the road hasn't cleaned his gutters out since 1975.

One thing we have noticed and it may be coincidence. We haven't seen any hummingbird s since we put them out

It is. Just sprayed at absolutely wrong time of the day. You can spray around bees just gotta pay attention
