* At 813 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Courtland, or
13 miles west of Decatur, moving north at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail and damaging winds and continuous cloud to ground
lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 AM CDT for north central
and northwestern Alabama.

Looks like these storm are now on a weakening trend except for a few. Maybe they will cool the ground off enough that when the main line gets there it will be inhibited somewhat. From Centerville to Canton and southward though, didn't get this devection.

Several tornadoes around me in MS this evening/night dont know how bad just yet, but Hamilton was supposedly hit hard. Luckily we've dodged them so far
