Today's brunch was going to be hard to top, but before we left I put a chuck roast in the slow cooker with some root vegetables. On the way back we picked up Mrs. Irish's little mother and Mrs. Irish went about making some smashed Yukon Gold potatoes and some roasted garlic green beans. She also made a little gravy out of the meat drippings. Hard to beat a day like this...
