Adjacent property owner nephew hunts his corner.
Active feeder and stands in place on his property that is not legal!
I was Coming out after hunting last night and heard a shot 18 minutes after legal hunting. I was 400 yards from the corner when the shot was made. I whistled and hollered to make sure that who ever it was knew someone was there. No response.
I called the property owner to find out if he had anyone hunting. No return call.
I called back today to ask if he had received my message, he said yes, but his nephew said they shot legally,
BS!!!!
He was supporting his “honest nephew “........
My thoughts are many, but I know the GW crew is wide open and short handed, I hate to bother with such a menial issue, what does the ALdeer family suggest?
I hate drama and this issue with the owner is biased toward the family.

I thought legal shooting light was 30 minutes after sunset. Could be wrong...

You guys crack me up telling him to hunt past legal shooting hours and most of you that had a neighbor with a stand next to a feeder on the property line would call the man in a heart beat. lol.
On a side note OP, you say past shooting legal time but, ya post says "sunset" so, if that's the case, shooters good

If the shot was really 18 minutes after legal shooting light (48 minutes after sunset) then it would have been completely dark. In that case he would have been spotlighting the deer and you should call the warden. To h3ll with minding your own business or not wanting to get involved.... if the trash outlaws in this state don’t start getting confronted we won’t have nothing left in 10 years. Anyone who will break a law as easy to follow as legal shooting light will definitely break other laws.

This. Everyone loves a nosy neighbor. I'm sure your neighbor will appreciate you calling the law because you think his nephew broke the law. I'm sure he appreciated your thoughtful calls about his nephew. If he has sense he's blocking your phone number right now.

I can still see in my fields 48 mins after sunset on clear days.

I was and do have quality optics, go find something else to pick at.....I am sure you can if that is your initial thinking. GFY! It was Dark looking thru the Zwarorskis at legal end of shooting time. I don’t hunt green fields. So your experience may be more gratifying.......

I was walking up the ridge line towards the the area where the shot came from......any other brilliant comedy.
The only light was coming from the incredible sky, yes, 48 minutes after sunset.
Alabama adopted 30 minutes after legal sunrise and sunset for hunting times.
