A realistic video showing things that the average Joe can do to improve the habitat on timberland leases in Alabama.
To me, that seems to be what the vast majority of people are hunting.
That’s a good one

Be nice to show folks the rewards of trigger restraint too. You beat me to it. And not just on bucks. I talk to people ALL the time who still think you should kill every doe you see. These are smart, college educated folks. It’s been beaten into their heads for 30+ years. They think the whole state is helplessly overpopulated with deer.

But there is a balancing act and method to killing does but it's all site specific as to where it was pounded into heads that it works everywhere. I guess educating folks on X type places carrying capacity would be correct approach. Being a typical timber co lease Vs Ag type availability.

Also educating folks on terminology and practicality of fertilizer, lime, seed, how to correctly time and use herbicides. I see it way too often being misused which is a complete waste of time and $$ for folks. And in some cases the expectations of even what can be accomplished on a given property. Not all dirt is the same

Hardwood timberland would be nice. Once again, I think most folks South of B'ham think the only tree in Alabama is a pine.
