For the cold days, in Alabama, I usually wear long pants and a sweat shirt.
My opinions and comments are my own. They do not reflect the position or political opinions of Aldeer or any of the Aldeer administration.

I’m looking to upgrade my cold weather outer wear. What I have now is just some cheap academy sports game winner brand jacket and bibs I’ve had for several years. So what do y’all recommend on the colder hunting days? Hopefully you have some quality under garments or ya still probably gonna get cold.

Sorry Clem - I just thought I’d be the one to bring up this discussion - for the 575th duzen time - Seriously didn’t know you could do a search for past discussions like this.

But my wife is so small that I couldn't get her panty hose past my knees, and I had ripped her bra in half before it occurred to me that I didn't have a reason to wear the bra.

I’ve never used it but saw someone else recommend it but Midway USA has a great deal on their bibs and jackets. About $50 bucks each.

A friend of mine swears by military surplus longhandles. Polypropylene. It's good stuff.

A friend of mine swears by military surplus longhandles. I used to have a couple sets of that stuff but it was too hot for Alabama, at least for me.

A friend of mine swears by military surplus longhandles. I'm sold on the field jacket liner and pants liners. they WORK great against a base layer and are very light weight
