Finally got my cameras out this weekend. Spent all day Saturday and this morning putting them out. Anybody else been putting in work during this heat ?

I about threw up in the woods yesterday doing the same.

I put 2 cameras out 2 weeks ago. Got a pic of one goodun ams a bunch of small bucks.

I went down to the club yesterday and put 9 cameras out as well as a little scouting for some bow hunting spots. This is my first year in this club and really hoping this one works out and I see some deer. The last few years have been horrible. My Dad is 68 and he said if this one is t better, doesn’t work out that he’s finished his hunting career. So, I’m really hoping for a good season as it won’t be the same without dad hunting with me, time that I cherish more and more each year!

I put out one camera after church behind the house. Then I had to weedeat. I will go put out the rest of my cameras in bankhead in Sept. No reason to be in a hurry in this heat because the deer I get pics of now won't be there come bow season but the ones I get pics of after the acorns start falling I can usually find during season. Except for the good bucks. Never kill one I've got pics of lol

I spread a couple of tons of lime and 500 pounds of fertilizer yesterday. Then pulled cards on cameras on that property and another one close to there. Got home about 3:00. Cold shower and a couple of cold beers sure was good after all that. Got another couple of tons left to do and I'm not really looking forward to it.

Running 8 right now. Got those out in first of the month. Checked them all once with pretty good results. Have yet to see the two Im looking for though.
This is my little buddy though! Had him in bow range twice with about 6 sighting total last season.
