Just walked outside after eating Cracker Barrel on 280 and my window is busted out of my Jeep and the only thing missing is my turkey vest and reading glasses. They reached right over my shotgun in the back seat, a pair of cabelas rubber boots and a brand new pair of Ariat snake boots. They also tried to bust my wife’s windows out but looks like they could only chip the windows. Not sure if any of you guys have ever been through this but this sucks!

And I just noticed my dang Vortex binos are gone also.

Hope they slip and break something later tonight. I can't stand a theif!

We got a picture of the car from Cracker Barrel’s camera, the manager said that their were two people and it looked like they sweeped the whole parking lot, even crawling around under a few cars. I’ll be back over here tomorrow looking for other cameras that may possible have caught anything. By the way please be on the look out for a brand new Nomad turkey vest in green leaf on any sites y’all may look at. Sucks all my calls were in there, even a few that were 15-16 years old now.

Stole my shotgun and a bunch of my camo....they literally pryed my doors open with a crowbar. My alarm never went off or anything.just went outside and my cab light was on and my doors were open. Bent the door frame so the glass wouldnt close back right and the doors never closed right again after that. This was in northport above tuscaloosa...if idah caught them....lord help them. Insurance paid for nothing...lost my gun and a bunch of high dollar hunting clothes...i cant afford to lose stuff like that...because i cant just turn around and replace it....i know how you feel, sorry they stole from you. My brother gave me the shotgun they stole from me...and our late father had bought it for him. If i could ever just get my hands on them.

Thanks guys, I still have not heard from the B’ham detective but I’m not keeping my hopes up that he will be a real Sherlock Holmes, maybe they can get lucky and catch these bastages.

i hate this for you — my experience w/“detectives” is without a picture of a suspect petty crimes like theft go in the filing cabinet 😕

Refer to my post back in September/October time frame. I got hit a work also. You were targeted and "matched" the description of a hunter/redneck either by having a sticker somewhere or the vehicle "look" was a dead ringer. Detective in my case I have never heard from but have the deputy DA. They caught my guy and he ad NUMEROUS charges against him. $153K bond. Good luck catching them.
