If you kill a good mature mountable buck, do yall take it to processor first or straight to the taxedermist you prefer for a quality cape job. Guy killed one last week and took straight to taxes mist guts and all. Just looking for oppinions.

For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.

Take care of the meat first.

My processor has always done a good job on the cape, so I go to him first.

Watched a youtube video on the subject and skinned it myself. Put the meat in a cooler and the head/hide to the taxi.

Cape my own... Most time consuming was skulling out my bears, careful not to screw up the eyes and ears.

Guess it depends on whether you want to eat it or just look at it on the wall.
Most proc around here will take care of it and the taxi can pick it up there.
