Kind of the same thing as hunterturf, except we marinade our strips in Frank's Hot Sauce & dip in Frank's & ranch dip after they're fried up. Gives it a bit of a kick!! smile

Soak the breast in water with salt, brown sugar, garlic powder, and lemon juice. Take out breast cut into nugget sized pieces then cover in buttermilk and hot sauce for a couple of hours. Use Louisana shrimp fry and deep fry at 360 degrees. Dip in Ken's Steakhouse honey mustard and enjoy

I don't soak/marinate mine in anything. I batter them in Zatarain's fish fry(lemon pepper) mixed with flour then fry.

They are wonderful without it, but a night or two in buttermilk makes them perfect.

Try krustys pancake batter for your flour when frying...

Cut up in strips put in zip lock pour butter milk over it then take a jar of sliced pickled jalapeños and pour half the juice in and at least half or more of the jalapeños. Let sit for half a day and fry them up along with jalapeños with your favorite batter.

Does anyone really know what the buttermilk is supposed to do? I've heard about soaking in buttermilk my whole life, but nobody knows why. Does the bacteria in the buttermilk break down the meat?

I love to inject mine and either smoke it on the smoker, or grill it. Juicy is an understatment.

Old school: salt n pepper to taste, roll in self rising flour then in 350 grease for a few minutes and you can actually taste the turkey.
