Remington 700 .25-06 scope - 10/01/12 10:33 PM
Finally in the market for a new scope. Ive been using an old Redfield scope from around the late 70's to early 80's (gun is the same age). Hunting in the rain/fog is on the verge of impossible unless I keep it covered with something. Ive taken deer from 10 yds. all the way out to 300 yds with it on clear days but time to move on and not worry about hunting in rain. Looking at the Nikon Prostaff 4-12x40....any thoughts on that? May get the same scope for my Remington 700 .270 (bought the same time as the .25-06)

The new pro staff is a good scope for the money.

Ended up going with a Leupold VX-1, 4-12x40. In the process of getting it mounted and sighted in.
