Dave knows 260’s and he’s right. Most of them will readily gobble up a wide variety of ammo. Congrats on the new rifle and dibs if you get tired of it. 😃
Lol I’ve got a 7mm-08 I’ve had since I was 15 first rifle “I bought” . My 9 year old stole It about two years ago and he has claimed it! It has always ate everything I fed it.
It ain't factory but I load 129 gr Hornady interlocks and deer do not like.the end result..mine is a tc encore platform And if I don't do to suit you I'll gladly take it off your hands
Shot .260 for years. 140's all day and you'll have more ammo choices and bullet selection thus enabling you to pick the most accurate ammo for your rifle....
140 core lokts at first but switched to 129 eld match several years back. Pin hole going in and destruction from there. It is my Son's gun. Had it nearly 20 years now. He still loves shooting it with the youth stock on it. He's 23.
260 Remington is definitely not a picky cartridge I've got a ruger boat paddle 77 that's shoots incredibly good with darn near anything.all I did is put a timney trigger in it and bead blasted the brushed stainless. 140gr Hornady interlocks are best so far.never fired a factory round out of it though
