I have not. As their order confirmation email illustrated, 7-10 days to ship due to demand. I did get tracking info on Friday.

Rebate applications have to be submitted by June 30, **including gun serial number**. I didn't know if the rifle would arrive by then, so I didn't order one.


Is there something I'm missing?

I called Christensen today to ask them about the dates, seeing how the delays might put me past 6/30. They told me to give it a few days and if I didn't hear from BHA to give them a call and they'd work it out.

I also asked them about the extraction issues that were on some YouTube reviews. They said that they'd mad some changes a few months ago that would take care of it, but if I had any issues they'd make it right at no cost to me, which I don't doubt from hearing the reviews on YouTube.

Once it has a tracking number, they should be able to tell you the serial number I would think.

I'll keep y'all up to date on what happens.

Delivered today

Shipping label created today. I emailed them to sende the serial number so I could give that to Christensen. I doubt they'll do it but needed to ask so I can say I covered my bases when I talk to Christensen tomorrow.

Called Christensen again today and their tune has completely changed. It went from "don't worry we'll work with you as long as you can show proof of purchase well figure something out" to, "if you don't have what you need to enter it by June 30 then sorry, too bad."

I told the guy that was piss-poor, and that the intent of the rebate was to encourage forearm sales, which it did, and that Christensen should stand by their customers especially when they said they'd previously said they would if things didn't go as planned after the sale. And lastly, whether it shoots great or not, if this is how they treat their customers, then it is the last time I'll ever buy from them, and everyone I know is going to hear about it.

Now. Hopefully it ships in time and it's a non event.

I’ve head numerous things like this. One reason why I haven’t been eager to buy CA.

I hope it works would on it's own, but after the "you're on your own, doesn't matter what I said earlier" response from Christensen, I'm done with them.

Can't do that to your customers, esp. when the intent of a rebate is to drive sales in a certain time period.

Yeah i know a few dealers that sell 'em and they say their customer service sucks when there's a problem

The customer service rep just called me back and said he talked to the owner after I threw my fit (my words). They are now extending the date for rebate submissions to July 17th for anyone who bought one before June 26th.

I told him I appreciated the Company was going to do right by their customers.

Wonder if their 10/22 clone is rebated too?

I wonder who makes the receiver. The mag well is Ruger, it's a Remington 700 trigger tech trigger. I think the carbon fiber barrel has to be where they've got the proprietary rights here

I would barely take one if given one for free. Best bud has one, he actually did get it for free in a raffle last deer season. We've been shooting a lot as we were preparing for an NRL22x match that was last weekend.

Off the bat, the rifle would not pickup the last round from the magazine it came with and it would not eject the last round either. Had to get a few magazines and try them out. One of the replacement magazines fit so tight you had to pry it out with a knife or screwdriver.

Then one morning two weeks before the match, the bolt handle sheared right off of the bolt. All my buddy needed was a new bolt handle, we could disassemble the bolt and put it back together but no dice. Christensen told him he had to send the whole rifle in. Did not have time for that obviously, got a machinist buddy to whip up a replacement and voila. Buddy placed 17 out of 49 in the match, his first ever, with a free rifle, a $200 scope, and a homemade bolt handle ha.

I picked mine up on Saturday and bought the vortex 4-16x44 diamondback on sale at Midway USA for $199 last week. Need some scope rings and I should be all set.

And...I entered my rebate info into Christensen website ...on July 3rd out of pure principle.
