Hevi x

Anyone tried patterning hevi x? I have a friend that swears by it, he will also tell you it’s a wall hanger when it’s a little rack 4 point. Just wondering if anyone else has any experience, good or bad with it? Preferably 20 gauge #6.

He sounds like Enviro Metal....the makers of Hevi-X....they’re just a marketing firm.

Hevi might be better than walmart Winchester super x but not by much. I did away with hevi when they started selling hybrid blended stuff and not the true hevi. Check out BOSS shot shells. Relative in price but the real deal.

20ga Hevi X tungsten is $42/box (of 25)...................someone please explain why tungsten shells with a duck on the box are $1.68/shell, but tungsten shells with a turkey on the box are$10-12/shell....

Just a guess, possibly different grade of tungsten. I am far from an ammo expert though.

If you think Hevi is getting some screaming deal on TSS and passing it on, .....well, they’re not. They’re selling snake oil most of the time. I’m not sure BOSS isn’t using the same model, but just using Hevi as their whipping boy to get some credibility.
