The ones for the 7600 will work fine , just won't hold the bolt back on the last shot.
742 will work too. I
Just to add 270 , 280 , 3006, 2506 all will work . Auto or pump , pump ones wont hold the both back on the last shot

I’ve got one I found in a box of old hunting “stuff” I had put back. It’s stamped 30-06 and is from an old 742. It’s a little rusty and needs a good cleaning, but he’s welcome to try it. The price is right. Let me know and I can meet you somewhere next couple days.

We called em clips before Outback was on this earth to tell us how wrong we are. Magazines were for reading in the house and in the outhouse, they served double duty in the latter

A clip holds ammunition that is not enclosed.
