Brace question

If a lower has a SB3 pistol brace, are there any issues later attaching a 16" barreled upper ? Say if you owned a Honey Badger, could the owner put a regular upper on it and disassemble the pistol upper to be in compliance.

You can put a 16 inch upper with a lower that has a pistol brace. There is no regulation about that. But, you do have to have 26 inch overall length.

Thanks. Was wondering what options were out there if they applied that ruling to all brace equipped guns

also you don'y have to disassemble the upper if you have another pistol lower, even if they're not pinned together. Guess they can't prove "conspiracy" like that.
