Mauser M18 in 6.5 PRC

Mauser M18 in 6.5 PRC - 03/10/20 02:50 PM

Just picked one up after reading about it for months. Haven't got to shoot it yet but this thing is guaranteed sub MOA groups and its only a $600 rifle. Obviously if it carries the Mauser name it's got to be of some quality right?

This 6.5 PRC round I wasn't too familiar with but I've become a huge fan. As much killing power as a 7mm Mag and shoots as flat as a .270. Pretty excited about this one. Topping it off with a Leupold VX3 4-12x50.

Interested to hear your opinion. Should be roughly the same as a .264 Win Mag, but in a shorter action. Lots of upgrades in powder technology in the last 60 years, for sure.

Nichols Outfitters was giving them away(in various calibers, not 6.5 PRC) with the purchase of any Bushnell Elite scope $500 and up. I read some reviews. There are not a lot out there. I personally was not that impressed with accuracy. Hope it works for you though.

Congrats on the new rifle bud...I don’t own a rifle chambered in 6.5PRC but I sure do like what I’ve read about it.

Thanks ya'll. I'll make sure to post a half baked review here when I get to shoot it. I always go to Bullet and Barrel to sight my rifles in so I can get the laser accurate groupings. Curious to see what this thing will do.

Shouldn't even be able to call it a Mauser. Good luck let us know how it shoots
