Anyone shooting the Ruger 17 hmr and how do you like your setup? I'm considering getting one soon. Just wanting to get some input.

Had the American and wouldn't eject hulls

I got a Marlin for sale in the classifieds. Bull barrel. Great shooter.

I ran about 50 rounds through an American yesterday and had the same issue with ejecting hulls. At first I thought it was a dirty chamber, but still did it after cleaning. The ejector was sticking in the open position so I took it apart to clean this morning and it looked a little bent. I straightened it out, so we'll see if its better next go-round. Stock presses on the barrel on one side also, and it groups like birdshot. I'd look one over real well before I took it home.

I was looking at the laminated stock with a ss barrel. Thank for the replies so far. I wanted the 77/17 but they are hard to find it seems.

My American ejected and shot very well. So I sold it. That's what I do. Like chewing gum the flavor had just worn off...on to something else. Not the guns fault.
