I am building up a 458 for hog hunting. I have never played with this round. Anyone have any recommendations on ammo brand and/or grain they like?

Got a geal on 458 AR. I was eyeing the ruger american 450 hard.

Good friend of mine who is a Class 3 dealer put a 458 upper on an M16 lower and did a mag dump. He said once was enough!!!

I've not messed with the .458 socom but it's lineage to the .425 WR bodes well for it. Shot 4 rounds of Westley's .425 and it's a Stomper of the highest order.
