Has anyone upgraded the 700 ML from the caps to 209 Primers? I see a couple different kits, some $69 some $150. The $150 kit seems to fully encapsulate where as the cheaper one doesn't.

Yes … Had I found the one that fully encapsulated the primer, I may still have mine. I have to shoot left handed, and it would blow crap in my face every time I shot it

Yes. I bought the conversion kit from a guy in Kentucky, I believe. Installed and shortened the firing pin myself. Still a pain in the ass to clean but still shoots almost one hole at 100 yards. Killed a bunch of deer and a few other critters with it over the years.

Agreed I done the same thing years again. Still a pain to clean. As much as I love Remingtons best upgrade was buying a Thompson center. Way more user friendly
