Hey Gundoc, can you cerakote scopes with the baking/heat process? I saw an add from Gibbs Custom Gunsmithing on this.
Well, you can but I don't recommend it and will not be responsible if the seals melt out of the scope.
The heat cure cerakote has to cook at a minimum of 250 degrees on anything other than wood or plastic
I have sprayed scopes in the past but only with the air cure
I saw on gibbs website they are doing advertising using H series on scopes. When I started doing it even NIC Industries - the folks who make Cerakote advised using the C series air cure on optics. That's what I've been doing
