Suzuki four wheeler opinions?

Suzuki four wheeler opinions? - 01/20/19 12:45 AM

What is everyone’s opinion on Suzuki four wheelers long term durability? Considering looking at them since it appears you can get more features for less $$ than the other Japanese brands. Didn’t know what folk’s real world experience has been. I’m specifically looking at a 500axi.

Thanks

I have a 2005 Vinson 500 that I have been happy with. The only thing I have done to it is rebuild the carb after letting it sit up for a year.

I know Vinson’s and King quads are good rides. All of the major brands are pretty reliable now.

I have a '99 model Suzuki 250 Quad Runner that I bought new in 2000. I haven't had any issues with it other than normal maintenance. I recently bought a Honda Foreman 500. I already wish I had bought another Suzuki instead.

I had a 1996 king quad that was the most durable atv I ever owned, even better than my older foreman! My nephew has a king quad about 6 years old and it has been a total waste ever since he put an exhaust kit on it. I believe if left stock they are great but when you start modifying them they get unreliable. I imagine you could spend the cash and make them work right but if you mod any of it be prepared to go all the way. FYI I also had a jet ski that was suzuki powered and it was great, one CDI replacement in 20 years.

Buy a honda and be proud. I will never own a suzuki. One of the biggest pieces of junk you can buy. They suck...are yall serious?

And suzuki parts cost more and way hard to find. I learned that the hard way years ago. All my buddies tellin me suzuki sucked. I shoukd have listened to them. I wont buy anything ever again unless its a honda period

At one time I had a 03 rancher and an 04 Suzuki Eiger in my basement. Now I only have the Eiger. It’s the best four wheeler I’ve had and I’ve also had a 96 fourtrax 300. Wouldn’t hesitate to own another Suzuki if I needed another atv. Don’t fall for the Honda hype.
