Ok. $1100 and you can have it.

It’s a Uberti Model 1873 chambered in .45LC.

I bought this pair of levers since I just couldn't see them being broken up.

Those are cool I've been thinking about getting one of those myself. I'm getting more interested in some of the older stuff now. Don't know that I want a cabinet full of antiques but one of those old shotguns is on the list. Model 8 Remington some things like that.

Goatkiller, these are a pair of 1887 Winchester 12 and 10 gauge black powder lever action shotguns. I started looking at the older guns, mostly from the 40's and 50's because I think the tooling and machining is in many cases better than I see today. These are the real deal in a classic western era shotgun. These will be hunted with and shot. Shotshells will be loaded with black powder. Most will be loaded with "SQUARE" loads. Should be fun.

I just left the pawn shop. They got a late model marlin in 45 - 70 out the door for 499. May have to go back and pick it up.

You are going to love that BLR. I always was a traditionalist and did not own one for years. Got one in .358 several years back now because I new it was time to retire several lever guns I was hunting with.

Never thought I would love it as much as I do. Great gun. Terrible trigger, but I can get over that. I would drag it with me about anywhere to hunt. Deer, elk, moose whatever needed killing as long as I didn't expect to shoot 400 yards. Good handy rifle and well made, shoots good as well mine is nearly MOA 3-shot groups which is good enough for a 250 yard gun in the caliber I have.

The 358 Winchester is about as practical a cartridge as there is at normal distances. I bet it's a dandy in the BLR.
