New "XP100" from Nosler - 06/11/18 10:32 PM

Nosler has released a modernized "XP100" they're calling it the M48NCH and will be available in .22 Nosler, .24 Nosler, 6mm Creedmoor, 6.5mm Creedmoor, 7mm-08 Remington and .308 Winchester.

I was kinda interested until the sticker shock, $2500.

This has already been done. Just like all their proprietary calibers. However, I love their bullets. Hope they don't mess up their company doing stupid stuff like re-introducing a bolt action pistol.

If they'll just chamber it in 7-30 Waters they can completely re-invent the wheel.

I just don't get the novelty in it. Just tote a compact rifle.

XP100 was a huge failure 40 years ago. Why go down the same road again? And yes, it as fugly!

You dang sure better have your hearing protection game in order if you decide to light off a short barrel rifle like that. I’ve never been around one, but I can only imagine it’s aweful

Short barrel AND muzzle brake. I would imagine it would throw some nice fireballs.

I loved my xp 100 and kick myself that I ever got rid of it. They shot great and no they were no more loud then a standard rifle. Kick wasnt bad at all. Mibe was a .35 remington.

I shot a XP-100 in 458American with a 350gr bullit ONE time. Kicked like a mule, gun came back over my head.

I'm guessing a 350 grain bullet causes a substantial amount of greater recoil then the 150 grain or so 35 rem.

Whatcha talkin bout? You can't kill a deer in Bama unless yo got at least a 416 Chey-tac with a 50 X scope. No pain, no gain.
