We poured out the sunflower oil from the pan and had the pan scrapings left. Mrs. Irish added in some flour and some butter and whisked it around for a while making a roux. Then we added salt and lots of black pepper and stirred it around more over medium heat. Then turned the heat down and slowly added milk until it was kind of thin and then let it cook back down to the right consistency.
